New School Year
Hello All,
Sorry I have not updated in a while. Things have been crazy around here but we are settling in nicely. We have some exciting things going on at preschool. As October comes to an end we will be trick or treating soon. We have been talking about pumpkins and how they grow. And of course the change of season! Loving the weather!!!
As most of you know last week was Fire Prevention Week so we have been talking about our "special meeting" places in case of emergency. Does your family know where to go? Look for pictures soon of our visit to the station to learn more about what to do in case of fire.
Just a quick update on where we are as far as academics......We have studied circle, triangle, rectangle, and square and the colors red, blue, and orange. We have started our numbers and are working on scissor and writing skills. Also, we are working on recognizing and knowing how to spell our names. If you work with them at home please teach them using the name strip we sent home. We will begin letters starting the first week on November.
We have a wonderful group of kids this year! Thank you all for sharing your children with us. Keep checking back for updates on what we are doing and of course PICTURES!!!
Have a blessed weekend!!!!
